Westonbirt House Summer 10k #finishinthebar.
The event is based at the beautiful Westonbirt House will see competitors take on the accurately measured 2 lap course, finishing directly in front of the stunning stately home.
The Westonbirt House Summer 10k has sold out every year since its inception, so don’t miss out on the 2020 edition and enter early.
The race starts at 19:30 to allow competitors plenty of time to get to the race venue after work. Both before and after the race the bar in Westonbirt House will be open for competitors and spectators alike to enjoy a drink and sit in the stunning house gardens. You can also upgrade your entry to #finishinthebar… Options are as follows:

Westonbirt House 10k iTaB
In 2020 for just £8 you can have your medal personalised with your name, position and finish time and if you’re keen, your splits too. Your details and results will be engraved on a small plate which fits neatly into the back of your medal. See itab for an example.

Getting to the venue couldn’t be easier and it is only a short distance from Junction 18 of the M4. Car times from Major Cities are
London – 1 hour 45 minutes
Birmingham – 1 hour 30 minutes
Bristol – 35 minutes
Cardiff – 60 minutes
Swansea – 1 hour 45 minutes
Exeter – 1 hour 45 minutes
The venue has plenty of parking. You will be directed into the School from the main road and through the main gates. Please take care when leaving the venue.
Make an evening of it
The bar and gardens will be open both before and after the race, so why not make an evening of it and bring the family and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Hot food will also be available to purchase.

Registration and Briefing Times
Race packs will be posted out in advance of race day. Details on this will be emailed to you nearer the time.
Dogs are allowed in the grounds of Westonbirt House but must be kept on a lead and any mess cleared up.
Cut Off Time
There is no official cut off times for the event, but the event marshals will be removed from the course after 90 minutes and anyone taking longer than this will have to make their way back safely themselves.
Marshals and Volunteers
To successfully run our events we require the support of Marshals and Volunteers. If you are able to assist at the event or have friends, family, work colleagues or enemies who may be able to help then please contact James Higgs on firstname.lastname@example.org. In return, we offer free entries into future DB Max events of a similar type.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the course, the event is not suitable for wheelchairs, people with visual impairments and cani-cross.
