Your race packs will be posted to you and will be with you before race day. Please note you may not pass your bib on to another runner. This is very important because of our event insurance and the information sent to the medical team. Anyone found running under a number which isn’t theirs, will be disqualified immediately and reported to the ARC. Please note there are no transfers, refunds or deferrals available after 26th November. Your race pack will contain your runner bib, safety pins and your BibTag timing chip.
Cut Off Times
There are no official cut off times for the event, but the event marshals will be removed from the course after 90 minutes and anyone taking longer than this will have to make their way back safely themselves.
Dogs are allowed in the grounds of Westonbirt House, but must be kept on a lead and any mess cleared up.
On The Day Enquiries and Briefing Times
There will be an Information Desk in Westonbirt House, open from 10:30 until 11:45. General race enquiries, bag drop and race pack issues, will all be handled here. There will also be mobile ‘How can I help you?’ staff who can be identified by their labelled, high-viz vests.. Race briefing will be held 10 minutes prior to the race start.
Marshals and Volunteers
To successfully run our events we require the support of Marshals and Volunteers. If you are able to assist at the event or have friends, fmaily, work colleagues or enemies who may be able to help then please contact James Higgs on firstname.lastname@example.org. In return we offer free entries in to future DB Max events of a similar type.
Unfortunately due to the nature of the course, the event is not suitable for wheelchairs, people with visual impairments and cani-cross.
In the event of a cancellation of the event due to bad weather, such a that seen in 2017, the event will be run on 30th December. All entrants will automatically be transferred to this date. We will also offer entrants the opportunity to transfer their entry to another runner from 16th December to 23rd December free of charge.
The DB Max event team look forward to welcoming you to Westonbirt on race day
