The Trowbridge Tri Star Aquathlon is back for the fourth year on August 5th for competitors from TriStar Start to TriStar 3.

The event will be run by DB Max Triathlon Club in 2012, with a number of experienced triathletes and event organisers at the club.

The event is set in the grounds of the Clarendon College – where the DB Max gang went to school, and even some entrants from this years event. The swim takes place in the superb six-lane swimming pool and the run is a flat course the school athletics track (grass).

• Copy of the Wiltshire Times for all competitors.

Wave starts from TBC.

Race Distances
TriStar Start: 50m swim, 600m run (8 years)
TriStar 1: 100m swim, 1k run (9-10 years)
TriStar 2: 200m swim, 1.4k run (11-12 years)
TriStar 3: 200m swim, 1.4k run (13-14 years)

Race Entry
TriStar Start and TriStar 1 – £10, £8 BTF
Tri Star 2 & 3 – £12, £10 BTF

• Trowbridge Sports Centre (postcode BA14 0DJ).
Trowbridge Sports Centre is located off Frome Road on the edge of Trowbridge. Ample parking is available at the venue.

Registration & Brieifng Instructions
Registration Times: From 10:30.
Briefing Times: Five minutes prior to race start.
Race numbers and timing chips will be collected from the registration desk on race day. Details of allocated bib numbers will be available online prior to the event and will also be displayed in the registration area at the venue.
BTF members must show a valid BTF licence at registration or purchase our day insurance (£3).
Competitors must attend the race briefing on the day. Information on the course and rules relative to competitor safety will be outlined. Please also take the time to read the BTF Rules.

Timing Transponders
Please attach the timing transponder (MYLAPS ProChip) firmly to your left ankle with the strap provided (chip fitting instructions). This will ensure that all finish results (as well as splits) are collected by the system. Timing chips will be collected in the finish funnel or marquee immediately at the end of the race.
Please return your timing chip as soon as you finish (even if you do not complete your race). Lost and unreturned timing chips will be invoiced at £75 each.

Please attach your bib number to your front while racing so that it can be clearly seen. Race belts may also be used. Bib numbers cannot be folded and competitors may not race with somebody else’s number.
