Organised by Bitton Road Runners the Sodbury Slog is quite simply not for the faint-hearted! Forget roads this is a lung-busting, trainer-ruining, hill-climbing, multi-terrain 10 mile challenge held over and through some of South Gloucestershire’s most stunning countryside.
Attracting around 1300 runners annually the route uses the same paths, fields, ditches and mud baths since its original inception in 1990. The race is always held on Remembrance Sunday and is preceded by the Exhortation, a two minute silence and playing of the Last Post, which sets the scene for a memorable day. The race is then started at 11:05.
By popular demand Terry the Tornado will be doing his not to be missed warm up again this year starting at 10.40.
Race packs will posted to your entry address approximately 2 weeks before the race. Transfers are permitted until 8am on the 19th October 2016.
