2016 sees the 3rd running of the Cotswold 226 Long Distance Triathlon.
The race set in the heart of the Cotswolds is the perfect introduction to long distance racing.
Contrary to popular belief, the topography of the Cotswolds is actually pretty flat in the southern end of the region as well as housing some of the most stunning countryside and picturesque villages.
Our bike and run courses will take you through the type of scenery that will take your mind off your tired legs, but keep you largely on the flat to keep your speed up.
As with our existing races, there are no specific swim cut offs and relaxed bike cut offs.
Cotswold 226 offers that ‘Big race’ experience, but with the personal touch that entrants of our races have come to enjoy.
We have fully stocked aid stations, closed roads where neccesary, With top Chip Timing provided by DB Max and live trackers for spectators, a big event type finish area outside a pub as well as everything you could ever want to make your long distance experience the best you’ve had.
Entries for 2016 Open October 1st 2015 priced at £240 for an individual entry and £330 for a relay.
